Courses are backed up then reset after a semester ends and grades are published. Upon backing up a course, an administrator includes enrolled users’ data, activities, resources, calendar events, question bank, and competencies. The backup file is of type “mbz”. That file can be restored at a later stage in case the instructor needs to view the old data (grades or submissions…) or for monitoring/recertification under the supervision of a general education personnel.
