Enrolling a user

Moodle LMS only accepts active AUB credentials at the login page. For example, current student with no pending holds, staff, or faculty who signed their contract. Hence, alumni who finished the clearance process and faculty/staff who resigned cannot benefit from AUB’s services including Moodle.

Generally, enrolling a user into a course is done manually by an administrator. Inside each course, there is an enrollment section to add user with student/instructor/co-instructor/non-editing instructor/instructional designer privileges.

There might be a case where a user hasn’t logged in to Moodle LMS before. In that case, an administrator can link his username to the course group in Active Directory application. Each group falls under a certain object unit. The OUs encompass guest, instructor, co-instructor, student policies.
