New faculty and new student orientations are two events in which IT plays an active role by disseminating the IT knowledge and tools needed to make teaching and learning at AUB more engaging. Hand-in-hand with orienting new AUB faculty members and students on the IT services available to them at AUB, the IT team offers a professional development program that is unmatched in the region. Faculty members can engage in several workshops and one-on-one sessions to expand on their knowledge of effective use of technology tools and new methodologies in their teaching. Students can apply for an internship or work-study program at IT.
