IT Procurement is the process of buying IT equipment, software, IT solutions/services. IT procurement involves both strategic and administrative responsibilities. The IT Team assists faculties and departments in finding and acquiring the most suitable option for their IT needs. This assistance includes but is not limited to needs assessment, budgeting, requisition, selection, commissioning, and much more. We also ensure that IT equipment currently in use by the community is constantly refreshed, that software gets renewed in a timely manner and that any software needed for academic and research activities is made available to the community.
