Email at AUB is part of the 'Office 365' service which provides to end users in addition to email, calendar, online Office applications, online storage with OneDrive and many other cloud based services. The IT Team can assist you in configuring your email, backing up or restoring your mailbox, sending mass mail from your email, whitelisting or blacklisting a sender's domain and acquiring a digital signature to sign your emails.
Students get the Office 365 ProPlus plan worth $144 user/year. It includes:
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and more. Latest version available for offline and online usage.
- 1 TB of OneDrive: Online storage synced across devices.
- Access from anywhere: Use your apps or a web browser to access your mailbox or applications from any device that has an Internet connection
- Skype for Business: Instant messaging, VoIP telephony, and real-time collaboration.
- Digital rights management: A tool to help you protect and share your confidential documents securely with other office 365 users (will be released soon).
- Distribution list: A self-service to help you create and manage distribution list on your own office 365 users.
